The Canon Powershot SX110IS 9MP Digital Camera

I like the sleek, modern design of the Canon Powershot SX110IS 9MP digital camera and immediately fell for it. It has a fine balance between simplicity and style. It design fits will in your palm and provides an easy grip so that you never feel uncomfortable holding the camera for prolonged periods of time. The 3.0-inch LCD screen dazzled me with its size as well as its quality. Its big size and wide viewing angles allow for quick and clear reviews of pictures taken. There was also very little delay switching between camera and playback modes.

The SX110IS has a 9 mega-pixel image sensor to take hi-def pictures. It also comes with a powerful 10x optical zoom for great close-ups. The flash can be flipped upwards or downwards to suit your lighting needs. Besides that you also have a large variety of modes to choose from. Some of the useful modes include portrait, landscape, indoor and special scene modes. It also offers some manual functions and flash reduction options to help you get the perfect shot. It is powered by AA batteries and also has a DIGIC III image processor that helps in accelerated face detection.

Although it's a very useful camera, some of you might find it to be on the bulkier side compared to other models. Also you cannot set the optical zoom when the movie mode is being used.

This is the perfect camera for you if you need a good camera with high zoom and often take pictures in outdoor locations. Overall, this is a great camera for the price paid.

Canon Powershot SX10IS 10MP Digital Camera

There are those who love taking good pictures and then there are those who just love good pictures. As many of us would know, taking a professional-looking picture can be quite a daunting task. For those who would looking to take great pictures without the hassle of hundreds of custom settings, consider getting your hands of the Canon Powershot SX10IS 10MP digital camera. This model comes with a 20x wide-angle optical image stabilized zoom feature.

With a host of automatic features, the Canon Powershot SX10IS 10MP digital camera enables you to take high quality images with little hassle. Those who are used to using Canon's SX series will immediately notice a great improvement in image quality with the new model. Its 28-560mm lens captures amazing pictures putting in head and shoulders above other camera models of its class.

The new Canon Powershot SX10IS 10MP digital camera has a DIGIC 4 image processor that increases the rate of noise reduction delivering high image quality a high ISO speeds. It also has a new I-Contrast feature that automatically adjusts contrast rations for better transition between light and dark shades.

Another impressive feature of the Canon Powershot SX10IS 10MP digital camera is its impressive 20x optical zoom. This zooming capacity is way above your average set of binoculars. While testing out the zoom in my living room, the camera can easily capture crisp and bright images of some small prints across the room.

This new model has a 2.5 inch LCD display, which in my opinion, seems a tad small by today's standards. I personally would prefer a bigger display screen more than anything else. All in all, in my books, the Canon Powershot SX10IS 10MP digital camera is still one of the best cameras in its class.
